Uninstall LockDown Browser from your computer Windows Go to the Start Menu. Right-click on LockDown Browser. From the menu that pops up, choose Uninstall. Uninstall LockDown Browser from your computer.
Windows 8. Open the Control Panel by right-clicking on the bottom-left corner of your screen. Choose Uninstall a Program from the list of applications.
It will be sub-listed under Programs. From the list, click on LockDown Browser. Windows 7. Open the Start menu. Choose Control Panel from the right pane. Go to Programs and Features. Choose Uninstall a program. Windows XP.
Click on the Start button. Click Remove. Exit LockDown Browser. Open your Applications folder. Select the LockDown Browser icon. Drag the LockDown Browser icon to the Trash. Step 3. Select Save File. Step 4. You will see Thank you for downloading LockDown Browser and the file name. Take note of the file name. Step 5. Locate the file that was downloaded on your device.
Double click the LockDownBrowser file to begin the installation. Step 6. Select your language, click Next. Step 7. Accept the terms of the license agreement, then click Next. Step 8. Select Finish. Step 9. You will see the LockDown Browser Icon on your desktop. Click on this icon to login to Blackboard whenever you are taking an assessment that uses the LockDown Browser.
